The distance between the grips is selected so that 1 year olds can already reach the top 5 grips with their hands, and feet don‘t have to come off the lower 8 grips. Felt glides collect dirt over time, and this can damage the floor. We recommend regular replacement and use on harder floors.
Plastic glides are more suited for carpets. For linoleum or wood floors, we recommend enhanced plastic glides.
