The beads can be threaded freely or using one of the templates to make what Fröbel called ‘Lebensformen’ (everyday shapes) such as figures, animals, plants, and symbols. A range of templates can be used to increase or decrease the difficulty level.

Felt glides collect dirt over time, and this can damage the floor. We recommend regular replacement and use on harder floors.
Plastic glides are more suited for carpets. For linoleum or wood floors, we recommend enhanced plastic glides.
