To provide a new type of pre-school play area next to their soft play frame, Active Northumberland asked us to introduce height, a sea theme and interactive panels to define and separate the space as a safe zone for 0-4 years with their carers. We also supplied furniture to create a separate birthday party dining area with our modular Pentagon tables with glides and casters mix: quick and easy to reconfigure and make larger group tables. The toddler play area is intended to be open-ended and encourage parents to not only supervise their children, but also participate in play. A soft pool (PVC and latex free) creates a nest retreat with a soft ‘beach’ mat crawling space around. The real wood play loft has roleplay kitchen and ‘hideout’ below, with steps to a lookout tower and play house. Finally, a play ship to explore and interactive room divider panels to create separation between the main, dynamic playframe, and this calmer space for younger children.
