St Martin’s Daycare

Refurbishment of an existing building (6th form block and IT) to create the first of the new ‘Canopy’ nurseries. The day-care has a central and very large room to be shared between 2 age groups and including the Cloud House 2-level play loft. In 2021 we added to the original concept with a flexible room divider system that can separate the age groups or be quickly opened up to change the space. The room also benefits from the Grow.upp noise reduction panels on the ceilings to significantly reduce noise levels and echo, as well as baby room, preschool room and sleep room.
